Mazda MX-5 trims include Prime-Line (1.5 engine only), and Exclusive-Line, and Homura. Prime-Line has cruise control, LED headlights, heated seats, and climate control. Exclusive-Line adds a Bose audio system, Traffic Sign Recognition, Lane Departure Warning System, and rear parking sensors. Homura stands out with 17” BBS alloy wheels, light stone Nappa leather seats, and stainless-steel scuff plates. 2.0 184ps Skyactiv-G models have a reversing camera, Adaptive LED Headlights, and a drive selection switch in auto models.

Design

Sporty, sleek, and compact, the Mazda MX-5 is drop-dead gorgeous. The black premium cloth soft-top with heated rear glass is easy to operate, and the cabin has a 7” colour centre display and Multimedia Commander.

Drive

With its front-engine, rear-wheel drive layout, signature 50-50 weight distribution and responsive, normally aspirated petrol engines, the MX-5 is a pure roadster. You can also get the 184PS engine with an optional automatic transmission.

Practicality

The MX-5 has 127-litres of boot space and a lockable, rear centre box ideal for electronics and wallets. Exclusive-Line models add smart keyless entry, rear parking sensors, rain and dusk-sensing wipers, and Adaptive Front lighting System.

Living with it

Wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto and Mazda navigation with European mapping ensure you can go anywhere fully connected. All models also have heated seats, with the Exclusive-Line model boasting black leather seats.
