Important notice.... All UK licence holders must obtain a Check Code from DVLA and bring it with them when hiring. This code allows us to check your licence for points and is valid for up to 21 days but can only be used once. Click Here to obtain your Check Code. We are open Monday-Friday 08.00 - 17.00, Saturday 08.00 - 12.00 and Sunday 10.00 - 13.00. We also have an out of hours facility for returning  cars when we are closed.

The above rates include VAT and comprehensive insurance for a driver over 25 (see below you for young drivers aged 21-24). All drivers must show their full driving licence, additional ID including proof of address and UK photocard licence holders must bring a DVLA Check Code.

All our vehicles are no smoking and pets are not allowed.

Mileage - The rates above include the following mileage allowance: 4 Hours/Overnight - 50 miles. Day - 100 miles per day. Weekend - 250 miles. Mon-Fri - 400 miles.  Week - 500 miles.

Driver restrictions -  Drivers of our cars/vans  must be aged 21-75 (or 25-75 for Peugeot 5008) and have held a full licence at least 12 months (or 24 months if licence is not from UK/EU/Commonwealth). Any accidents/vclaims in the last 5 years must be disclosed  (or 10 years on Drunk Driver Convictions). See secton below regarding drivers under 25.

 We are unable to insure drivers they are using the vehicle for hire and reward of goods/passengers or if they have :

• Had their licence back less than 3 years after a disqualification
• Had more than one fault motor claim in the last 3 year

The following occupations or acts are not allowed:

• Professional entertainment/sport/Jockeys (or in connection with racing of any sort)
• Undergraduates or students
• Service personnel born outside of the UK
• Courier services, express mail or parcel delivery
• Fast food establishments (including food delivery)
• Motor factors
• Wholesale or daily newsagent deliveries
• General dealers or street and / or market traders

Young drivers - Drivers under 25 can only rent Peugeot  2008 models and pay an insurance supplement (£3 per day for ages 23/24 and £5 per day for ages 21/22). Young drivers must have no points on their licence and have held a full licence at least 2 years.

Insurance excess - Our standard insurance means that you are liable for a maximum £600 damage to the hire vehicle. You can reduce this liability down to just £100 by paying an additional £12 per day (in winter at times of bad weather this charge may be increased).

Additional drivers - extra drivers can be added onto the insurance for £15 which covers up to 7 days (plus Young Driver supplement if aplicable). They must also come in with the same documents as the main driver.

Payment - The cost of the rental plus a security deposit is charged when collecting the car with any additional charges such as excess mileage automatically charged at the end of the hire. The security deposit is equivalent to the insurance excess - either £600 or £100, and is refunded once the vehicles has been inspected for damage and the fuel level. Payment can be made by credit card (excluding American Express or Diners) or debit card, we no longer accept cash. If extending the hire then the additional payment must be made before the original hire period ends. Please note we require the signature of any card holder and cannot accept payment by 3rd parties over the phone.

Fuel - Rates exclude fuel and the car must be returned at the same level they are collected with.
