Important notice....  all UK licence holders musts obtain a Check Code from DVLA and bring it with you when collecting a vehicle. This code allows us to check your licence for points and is valid for up to 21 days but can only be used once. Click Here to obtain your Check Code. Rates are inclusive of VAT and comprehensive insurance with a £600 excess.

We are open Monday-Friday 08.00 - 17.00, Saturday 08.00 - 12.00 and Sunday 10.00 - 13.00. We also have an out of hours facility for retuning vehicles when we are closed.

Driver requirements -  Drivers of our people carriers/minibuses must be aged 25-75 and have held a full licence at least 12 months (or 24 months if licence is not from UK/EU/Commonwealth). Any accidents/vclaims in the last 5 years must be disclosed  (or 10 years on Drunk Driver Convictions). 7 , 9 and 14 seat vehicles can be driven with a normal car licence..

 We are unable to insure drivers they are using the vehicle for hire and reward of goods/passengers or if they have :

• Had their licence back less than 3 years after a disqualification
• Had more than one fault motor claim in the last 3 year

The following occupations or acts are not allowed:

• Professional entertainment/sport/Jockeys (or in connection with racing of any sort)
• Undergraduates or students
• Service personnel born outside of the UK
• Courier services, express mail or parcel delivery
• Fast food establishments (including food delivery)
• Motor factors
• Wholesale or daily newsagent deliveries
• General dealers or street and / or market traders

Payment - The cost of the rental plus a security deposit is charged when collecting the vehicle with any additional charges such as excess mileage automatically charged at the end of the hire. The security deposit is equivalent to the insurance excess - either £600 or £100, and is refunded once the vehicles has been inspected for damage and the fuel level. Payment can be made by credit card (excluding American Express or Diners) or debit card, we no longer accept cash. If extending the hire then the additional payment must be made before the original hire period ends. Please note we require the signature of any card holder and cannot accept payment by 3rd parties over the phone.

Mileage - the rates above include the following mileage allowances: 4 hours/Overnight - 75 miles. Day - 150 miles per day. Week - 750 miles. Excess mileage is charged at 20p per mile

Fuel - Hire vehicles must be returned with the same amount of fuel they are supplied with.

Insurance excess - Our standard insurance means you are liable for a maximum £600 damage to the hire vehicle. You can reduce your liability to just £100 by paying an additional £12 per day (in winter at times of bad weather this daily charge may be increased).

Additional drivers - Extra drivers can be added onto the insurance for just £15 each for up to 7 days cover.  They must also come in with the same documents as the main driver.
