Experience driving electric with an eMoped or eScooter from Segway. They’re ideal vehicles for doing short journeys in an environmental friendly way and can be driven by :
- 16 year olds subject to having a provisional licence, passing a CBT (compulsory basic training) test and they need to display L plates until they pass a motorbike test which can be done from age 19.
- Riders who passed their full car driving licence before January 2001 can ride without a CBT test and do not need to display L plates and can carry a pillion
- Any full car license holders that gained their licenses after 2001 need to take a CBT test, and display L plates until they pass a motorbike test
- Anyone with a full motorbike licence
